The blue and white Imari is based on an original Japanese vase. Produced in the style of Kakiemon Arita porcelain, the hand-decorated pattern is underglazed in traditional cobalt blue.

The Imari Vase - Blue and White is produced from underglazed hand-decorated porcelain. Underglaze is a method of decorating pottery where the pattern is applied to the surface before it is glazed. This ensures the decoration remains completely durable and the surface of the pottery has a uniform finish.
